Today is Tanje's very first birthday. How we wish she was here with us, so we could celebrate it together. Our consolation is that we're getting very close to travelling. We've decided we'll celebrate at Tet (Vietnamese New Year), as birthdays are traditionally celebrated in Viet Nam.
I've packed the kids' clothes, toys, and snacks, and a few things for Rick and I. I'll feel much more organized when that's done! I can't believe how much I have to do yet at work. It's as much work prepping for 6 weeks off as it was for 6 months. Strange, but true...
Wonder what Tanje's doing right now... Can't wait to see she and Savannah giggling together (at me?), reading together (to us?), playing together (with us?), even fighting together (but just a little!). Soon soon soon!
