Three months today since we've received the exciting news that a little girl named Nguyen Thi Tiep was destined to a little chick in our nest. Wonder if that means we're halfway between that day, and the day where we finally finally can say 'gotcha'!?
I've started purchasing a few little things for Tanje, and for the trip. Some medications (which we likely won't need, right?), and small snacks, diapers, a carseat (yup, this is getting serious now - we're into the big ticket items) and the cutest pair of ladybug jammies. And have updated the packing list we used for our China journey (it was pretty bang-on, so very little to change, except of course, to add a whole list of things for an older sister!). Also looked online for little gift ideas for the orphanage director and nannies. Most Vietnam adoption sites seem to recommend perfumes, fine wine, or chocolate (mmm!). I can feel another shopping excursion coming on.
